    Ningbo Lishe International Airport is to carry out the new flight schedule for summer and autumn from March 28, reviving services along routes to 76 domestic cities, with six new cities, Lhasa, Xinzhou, Anshun, Yulin, Yining and Bazhong added, and offering more flights to Beijing, Wuhan, Shenyang, Guiyang and Zhengzhou. By then, citizens will be endowed with multiple choices while travelling.

    A new flight per day to Lhasa, Tibet has been added by Chongqing Airlines, a subsidiary of China Southern Airlines. It’s the first flight bound for Tibet from Ningbo via Chongqing, which is scheduled to depart Ningbo at 9:55am and reach the destination at 17:50pm while the inbound flight is set to take off at 18:35pm and arrive at 00:30am the following day.

    LJ Air, a newcomer to Lishe Airport, has launched daily flights between Ningbo and Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport in Shanxi Province, which is set to depart Ningbo at 14:40pm and arrive at Xinzhou at 17:05pm, whilst the return flight will fly from 10:25am to 12:35 pm.

    Loong Air has added round trips between Ningbo and Yulin, Shaanxi, of which Yulin Yuyang Airport offers services every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight will depart Ningbo at 10:45am and arrive at 13:35pm. The return flight takes off from Yulin back to Ningbo at 19:15pm and will arrive at its destination at 22:00pm.

    Fuzhou Airlines has offered a direct link between Ningbo and Anshun of Guizhou province every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight will depart Ningbo at 13:50pm and arrive at Anshun at 16:30pm while the return flight will depart at 10:25am and arrive at 12:50pm.

    Meanwhile, the flight between Ningbo and Yining County, Xinjiang will be launched by Spring Airlines in July this year, traversing approximately 4,000 kilometers during a flight time of 8 hours, 10 minutes. It will smash the record of flights to Karamay and Kuqa, and become Ningbo’s longest domestic passenger flight.

    In addition to new domestic routes, Lishe Airport has also joined hands with carriers to fly more passengers from Ningbo to a handful of cities in North China, Southwest China and Central China, as demand for travel will pick up in summer and autumn.

    As for North China, the focus is on adding flights to Beijing and Taiyuan. Lishe Airport has made great efforts in coordinating with airlines to offer more services to and from Beijing in a bid to expedite the work of building Lishe Airport into a regional hub and meet the demand for business and tourism between Ningbo and Beijing. The airport will boast a maximum of 14 daily round-trip flights from Ningbo to Beijing as per the new flight schedule, including five to Beijing Capital International Airport and nine to Beijing Daxing International Airport. Also, the intervals of time between each flight are the same for passenger convenience. In addition, Hainan Airlines has added a daily flight between Ningbo and Taiyuan.

    In Southwest China, the main focus is on Guiyang, Chengdu and Kunming. A number of airlines, including 9 Air and Sichuan Airlines, will fly more between Ningbo and Guiyang. Loong Air and Sichuan Airlines have added three and four weekly flights to Chengdu from Ningbo, respectively. By this year’s summer, the number of average daily round-trip flights from Ningbo to Guiyang will reach nine, and to Kunming will reach six.

    Central China is mainly concerned with flights between Ningbo and Zhengzhou and Wuhan. Spring Airlines, Shandong Airlines and Hainan Airlines have added one daily round-trip flight and West Air has added between one and two flights from Ningbo to Zhengzhou; Air China has added one daily round-trip flight and China Eastern Airlines has added three from Ningbo to Wuhan. The number of average daily round-trip flights between Ningbo and Zhengzhou and Wuhan will reach eight and four, respectively.

    In addition, Eastern Airlines, Loong Air and Spring Airlines have added one daily round-trip flight from Ningbo to Lanzhou with the average daily number reaching four. Compared with last winter and spring, this year will see a growing number of flights to Nanchang, Sanya, Yantai, Lijiang, Zhuhai, Luzhou, Ganzhou and other cities in Central China over the same period.

    For international and regional flights, Air Macau has added one daily round-trip flight from Ningbo to Macau since March 15, and Spring Airlines has also resumed one weekly flight between Ningbo and Seoul, South Korea.
