Today，I went to celebrate Chinese New Year in my grandparents’ home with my family. I wrote spring couplets and stuck them on the gate to decorate my grandparents' house. A very important thing for our family was to have New Year’s Eve dinner. Those dishes were very delicious.
After dinner, we watched Spring Festival Gala on TV and played firecrackers. The firecrackers were beautiful, but they were too loud. So I covered my ears. We stayed up very late to wait for the arrival of New Year.

It all started with fishing at last weekend. My grandpa and I went fishing last Sunday. I felt so excited, because it is the first time I go fishing. We brought some baits, two fishing rods, two hooks and some lines.
The weather was nice. We went to a lake. I sat by the lake, lifted the fishing rod, and waited. I waited and waited. But no fish came here. I felt so sad. Grandpa said: “ When you are fishing, you should be quiet and patient. Then you will catch a fish.”
After a while, one fish came here. I got it! Fishing is so fun! I like it!
In the end, my grandpa and I got nine fish. That night we ate these delicious fish.
It was a great day. I hope I can go fishing again.

Last weekend, I rode bikes again with my friends in the park. I won every race because my Lightning was the best bike in the world. My friends also wanted a big bike like mine, but they were shorter than me, a big bike could be dangerous for them.

Look at my strong body, I always imagine that I am LeBron James , because he is my favorite idol. I was in contact with basketball in my childhood, my dad specially install a basket for me on the wall. After that ,I shoot in various postures ,trying it for many times ,finally, I hit it.
When I playing the fancy basketball following the steps of the music. I suddenly find that basketball is alive. I like competitive basketball best, that is so exciting, using my weight and height to catch the backboard. Basketball is an indispensable part of my life.

There is a new park near my home. It’s not very big but smart.

In the middle of the park, there is a big lawn. It is round and the grass is so soft. I like sitting on the grass and enjoy the fresh air. Every evening, after I finish my homework, I’d like to run in this playground. When I’m tired, I can find a seat everywhere. When I’m thirsty, I can drink warm water from the water tap in the park. . It’s so convenient.
