This is my father. He is a manager of a car sales company. He works so hard, sometimes he works till midnight. Although he works very hard, he is still a little fat, because he doesn’t like doing sports.

Ningbo is my hometown which is located in the east of Zhejiang province. It is a major port city in China. Bamboo forests and hills surrounding Ningbo are home to famous historical sites.
There is a variety of tourist attractions in Ningbo. For example, the Three River Junction, Dong Qian Lake, Tian yi Square and the Old Bund. My favorite place is moonlake. It is surrounded by picturesque bridges, gardens and paths. We can rent a boat and sail on the lake. It is a fantastic place to relax ourselves. In Ningbo, there is a diversity of traditional food, such as bamboo shoot, tangyuan etc. They are all delicious. If you come to Ningbo，please taste them as you like.

Bichon Frise

Background:
Bichons frises are small, outgoing dogs. They love to play with other dogs and children. They have fluffy, curly fur and tails that form plumes above their backs.
Soft Coats:
Bichons frises have white, soft coats that keep them warm. They have curly fur that makes them more cutter. When their tails stand up, it looks like feathers standing up. Dark eyes peek out of their face, it is the only way they can see the sight. Their ears are floppy and soft. They can hear the sound because of this double of ears.
Size:
Bichons frises are a small breed, they are about 11 inches (28 centimeters) tall. That is bigger than my iPad! They weigh up to 18 pounds (8 kilogram). That is much heavier than my eraser! They are sturdy little dogs, strong muscles help them jump, run and play. They spin a long time for playing every day. They are known for their tireless energy.
History:
Bichons frises first came from the Kalari Islands in Spain. It is the old home for them. In the 1500s, they were pets of french royalty. This lasted until the late 1700s, later bichons became circus dogs because they learned to do tricks. Bichons joined the American Kennel club in 1971, they are part of the Non-sporting group.

Bichons love to have fun. They enjoy the owners’ smile very much. They love when people pet their soft coats. Every day is full of fun and friends for Bichons frises!

My Trip to Xi'an

Last summer, my mom and I took the plane to Xi’an. We were excited. The trip was wonderful.
On our first day, we visited the Terra-cotta Warriors. Some warriors are tall and some are short. They are impressive.
On our second day, we went to a park. We climbed into a pagoda there. I was happy and tired.
On our last day, we went shopping. I bought two small statues, one is a horse and the other is a warrior. They are cool. I like them.
The trip is an unforgettable experience. I hope to visit Xi’an again.
My Favorite Festival

If I need to talk about my favourite festival, no doubt it is Chinese New Year’s Eve. For Chinese people, it is important to get together with the family members.
On New Year’s Eve we have a great feast. In my hometown Ningbo, it is our tradition to eat “niangao”. Niangao has a great meaning. It means growing higher and higher every year, which is exactly what I need!
After dinner, we stay up late to catch the very first moment of the new year and we go on our celebration after the mid night too. When the clock strikes to 12, I can enjoy firework display, making the sky colourful. After all I fall asleep with my lucky money under my pillow. A sweet dream comes soon.

My Summer Holiday

There is a big pond in the park. I can sit near pond and watch the fish swimming. I’m happy.
