A Wonderful Winter in Hangzhou

Winter is cold and dry. But I enjoyed this winter very much because the snow. For us children live in the south, it is exciting to play with the snow.
This year, I went to my grandparents' home in Hangzhou with my parents. One day, I waked up in the morning and I found it quiet outside. I opened the window and saw the vast white courtyard, bright dazzling. Ah! It was snowing! Mother asked me to put on more clothes as it was really cold outside. The grass was covered with a thick layer of snow, as if the plants were sleeping under a white cotton blanket. My father's car was covered with snow, too. It looked like a large cream cake. My father and I had snowball fights and made snowmen. I had a good time in the snow.
Playing in the snow was cold, but I really enjoyed it.

Today, I’m going to introduce a delicious food to you! Can you guess what it is?
It is Ningbo Tangyuan! Tangyuan is made from glutinous rice flour. It has different fillings. Years ago, it is usually filled with black sesame seeds. But now, you can find meat, salted egg yolk or even ice cream in it. How wonderful it is! Tangyuan is in round shape, which also has the meaning of reunion.
For me, it is full of the taste of home. On the lunar calendar fifteenth which is the Chinese Lantern Festival, people usually hang on lanterns, guess lantern riddles and of course, eat Tangyuan. People wish all the family numbers can stay together forever, so they eat Tangyuan together!

I have a big dream classroom. In my dream classroom, mosquitoes, grasshoppers, flies, mantises fly all around. You can always see cockroaches under the teacher’s desk and lizards in your desk.
In this classroom, the door is made of bird’s feather. The walls are made of insect’s specimen and windows are made of insect’s wings.
There is one thing near the window. It is a big bookshelf. Beside the bookshelf, there is a group of wolves. In this bookshelf, there are many books about ocean. When we take a rest, we can read these books or play with the wolves.
Do you know why there are so many creatures in my dream classroom? Because I like all the animals in the world! I hope everyone can protect them!
