During the winter vacation, our family took a trip to Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. Shaoxing is known as the “cultural city”. The Big Buddha Temple is also one of representatives.
Entering the temple, you will see all kinds of lanterns arranged on both sides of the road. Every lantern is made very lifelike. For the walking, only heard the sound of water, looking at the sound, it turned out to be a big waterfall. Above is a cave temple. There is big lake below. There is a large lotus lamp in the lake. It is very beautiful. We climbed up the steps and came to the temple. There is a lying Buddha in the hall. He looked very kind. His body length covered the whole cave, estimated to be twenty meters. Even one of his small fingers was thicker than my legs. It is enough ”the first Buddha in Asia”! I have to admire the wisdom of the ancient people.
