    In March, Waicao Village of Jiangbei District's Yongjiang Subdistrict has a picturesque sight at every turn - vast fields of rapeseed flowers, a cherry tree-lined trail along the riverbank, and a newly-built fitness park that is full of thriving plant life. In the past few days, many people have come to take photos on the cherry blossom trail and in the rapeseed fields.

    阳春三月，江北区甬江街道外漕村里，步步皆是风景——成片的油菜花海，河岸边的樱花步道，还有刚建成的健身角绿意盎然，仿佛置身在花园中。这几天，樱花游步道和油菜花田里都是来拍照打卡的人。

    In recent years, the village has been upgrading its environment with public sanitation and village reconstruction campaigns, creating a "garden-style landscape" that presents different types of beautiful scenery all year round. Many city dwellers are making trips to the village, attracted by its sights and destinations.

    近年来，村里不断提升村容村貌，从环境整治到村庄改造，努力将村子打造成花园式村落，让村民们尽享四季美景，也吸引了很多城里居民特意到村里来看景游玩。

    The vast fields of rapeseed flowers have become a springtime must-see sight in Waicao. Since 2018, Yongjiang Subdistrict has been planting rapeseed flowers along Meizhu Road in its northern suburbs, in the Daren Village scenic area, and at Waicao Village and Xiajia Village. Among these locations, Waicao Village has the largest rapeseed flower field, covering more than 33 acres.

    成片的油菜花海在外漕已经成了每年春季必打卡的风景。从2018年开始，甬江街道便在北郊的梅竹路沿线、达人村景区、外漕村、夏家村周围种植油菜花，其中，外漕村的油菜花种植面积最大，多达200多亩。

    Surrounding the "sea of flowers" is a trail and viewing platforms, bustling with citizens eager to enjoy the outdoors and the spectacular sight.

    为了打造花海景观，街道在油菜花田里修建了游步道和观景台，吸引了很多市民来这边赏花踏青，感受春光。

    The blooming period of the "sea of flowers" will last until April. After the rapeseed crop's harvest season passes, early-season rice will be planted in the fields, followed by late-season rice, as part of a rotation cycle of "year-round pastoral beauty."

    这片花海的花期将延续到四月份，待油菜花成熟后，田里将种上早稻，以油菜花、早稻、晚稻交替轮作的方式，营造一整年的“田园美景”。
